Rancho Cielo Ag Processing and Mechanics
The Rancho Cielo Ag Processing and Mechanics program is a unique experience, giving students hands-on training, as well as academic instruction in the classroom, leading to the completion of a high school diploma in partnership with WASC-accredited, John Muir Charter School. Students who participate in the Ag Processing and Mechanics program will learn the mechanics, food safety, electrical of the salad factory line, commonly referred to as “Value Added.” Students will have the opportunity to maintain and repair machinery and equipment that is essential to the agriculture industry.

The Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP) provides an opportunity for college students to participate in research at a Department of Navy (DoN) laboratory during the summer. The goals of NREIP are to encourage participating college students to pursue science and engineering careers, to further education via mentoring by laboratory personnel and their participation in research, and to make them aware of DoN research and technology efforts, which can lead to employment within the DoN. The Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey is one of the participating DoN laboratories.
