AgriCulture Jimmie Cox Memorial Scholarship

Students and/or their legal guardian must live either in Santa Cruz County or within the Pajaro Valley Unified School District boundaries, or be a current member of the Santa Cruz County Farm Bureau to apply.

Bay Federal Credit Union’s 2019 Education Scholarship

For students who are pursuing educational and career training opportunities after high school. Up to three individual winners will be awarded $1,500 to pay for expenses directly related to their continuing education. Submission Deadline: Friday, Feb 1, 2019

Cabrillo College Promise Program

Community Foundation for Monterey County

Community Foundation for Monterey County offers a variety of scholarships for students in Monterey County to help achieve their educational and career goals. Students can apply for the majority of scholarships through the online scholarship system.

Community Foundation Santa Cruz County

CFSCC has ten academic scholarships open to all Santa Cruz County students to help awardees attend vocational school or undergraduate study at a college or university.

Ernie Camacho Educational Foundation

The Ernie Camacho Educational Foundation awards $500 scholarships to upcoming graduating seniors from either Alisal High School and/or Everett Alvarez High School.

Hartnell College Scholarships

A variety of scholarships are offered for new, continuing and transfer students at Hartnell College. A single application places students in consideration for a variety of scholarships. Scholarship awards range from $500 to $5,000.

Hartnell College Salinas Valley Promise

The vision of the Salinas Valley Promise is to provide critical resources for local high school students to enroll, persist, and complete college in order to foster a more vibrant, prosperous and secure community.

Heritage Hog Scholarship

The Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds Foundation Heritage Hog Scholarship is offered to a deserving college or other higher education bound student interested in raising a hog to be brought to the Santa Cruz County Fair and sold at the Junior Livestock Auction. The Fairgrounds Foundation will provide the hog and feed and $2,000 to a student entering or currently attending college. This award will be allocated with verification of registration for full-time classes.

Japanese American Citizens League

Watsonville-Santa Cruz Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League offers four scholarship funds. Applicants apply for scholarships by submitting generic application information that could apply to all.

Latinos in Technology Scholarship

Silicon Valley Community Foundation offers scholarships for Latino(a) students who have a declared major in a science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)-related field and are graduates of a high school in Santa Cruz County.

Medical Staff Outstanding Student Leader Award

Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula offers awards to children or grandchild of members of the medical staff of Community Hospital who meet the award criteria.

Men's Institute for Leadership and Education

Men's Institute for Leadership and Education (MILE) is designed to increase the leadership capacity, workforce skills, college enrollment, and college completion rate of men. They are seeking students who are committed to improving their lives and the lives of their families through higher education.

Monterey Peninsula College Scholarship Program

The Monterey Peninsula College’s Scholarship Program has succeeded due to the generosity of numerous local and nationwide donors.  Visit their website to search scholarships and you can also view Outside Scholarships.

Ocean Mist Farms Academic Scholarship Program

The Ocean Mist Farms Academic Scholarship Program awards a total of six $1,000 academic scholarships each year to deserving students. Two $1,000 scholarships are available exclusively to a dependent of an Ocean Mist Farms Affiliate Company employee.  Students must live in Monterey, Riverside, San Benito or Santa Cruz counties.

Pre-Med Annual Scholarship Awards

The Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group (PAFMG) Pre-Medical Scholarship is awarded to deserving local high school students who attend a four-year college and plan to pursue careers as doctors.

UC Santa Cruz Private Scholarships

UC Santa Cruz provides a list of private scholarships students can apply for. UC Santa Cruz is not affiliated with these sites, which may be sponsored by lenders or other commercial interests.
