Cabrillo College Veteran’s Information Center

The Veteran’s Information Center (VIC) at Cabrillo is operated by veterans for veterans. The focus is to provide resources and information for those who have served as well as their dependents and to assist, support, and guide student veterans to their academic success.

Hartnell College Veteran’s Service Center

Hartnell’s Veterans Services Center provides personalized and caring support to Hartnell student veterans during their transition from military service to college life. They help veterans navigate through Hartnell and provide assistance with VA educational benefits, as well as give veteran students the tools to succeed academically and personally. 

Monterey Peninsula College Veteran’s Resource Center

The Monterey Peninsula College Veterans Help Desk function is to provide a one-stop-shop for veteran students and dependents of a veteran.  It is a place where Veterans can seek assistance relating to their education.

UC Santa Cruz Veterans Benefit Services

UCSC’s Veteran Benefits Services office serves as a liaison between the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and UCSC student veterans. The goal is to help veterans and their dependents find the information they need and to assist you in processing your veteran’s education benefits while pursuing your undergraduate or graduate degree.

Santa Cruz Public Libraries provides several local and state resources for veterans to assist in finding and applying for jobs.

VetNow

VetNow provides live job coaching, resume lab, live Veteran navigator, unemployment assistance, and many other free job-seeking tools for Veterans and their families. To access this resource a Santa Cruz Public Libraries or Monterey County Free Libraries Card and Library Card Pin Number is required.

Veterans Transition Center of Monterey County

VTC provides training, classes, skills assessments, assistance with job placement, quarterly job fairs, job skills training, and skills assessment and more!

Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists Inc. (VRSI)

Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists Inc. (VRSI), located in Marina, offers a wide range of free services including vocational counseling, vocational evaluation, employment, and training services to eligible veterans.
