Intended for responsible youth who want to make a better life for themselves, demonstrate leadership potential and/or provide positive role models for other youth, show the ability to make good choices, and who desire to improve their skills and abilities to succeed in the workplace. Scholarships are up to $1,000 per person and should be used to offset the costs for tuition, books, fees, transportation costs and other related and relevant training expenses.
Applicants for the Dwight Brydie Scholarship Fund must be:
1. Currently participating in a youth employment program
2. In high school and planning on attending college or post-secondary education or training or attending college or post-secondary education or training
3. Between the ages of 16 and 24
4. A resident of California
